So we have had a busy 2010 and I have fallen very behind on updating my blog. Sooooo I am going to give a little overview of the year and will attempt a new start for 2011.

January-
we had a few birthdays and Michael turned 38. He continued with his last semester of nursing school. Study Study Study...

February- there was nothing huge. I did my usual gymnastics and dinner nights out with the girls. Juggling work and the kids.

April- again we had a bunch of birthdays and a fun Easter with both of the families.

May- was a big month for us. Michael graduated from nursing school and then again he was studying his heart out for nursing boards. I also completed my second triathlon with Melanie Mackenzie and my friend Sarah. Lily turned 3, we had a party at the house. She got more clothes and babies than any little girl could ever want.

June- we took a family vacation to Vegas, Anaheim and San Diego.
In Vegas we walked the strip with the kids. Once again we forgot to bring a stroller so we bought a super cheap one for not so cheap a price on the strip. We had a great time at the coke store trying many different sodas from around the world. Some were yummy and some were not so good.

After Vegas we went to Anaheim and spent a few days at Disneyland. The kids loved Disney and cried when we told them that we had to leave and were not going to come back the next day. We also spent a day at the beach. Lily was not a huge fan of the water but loved the sand. Haiden is getting more brave and will go in the water and play.

After Anaheim we went to San Diego, in San Diego we visited the Zoo, Lego Land, Sea World and the beach. At Sea world we got soaked at the Shamu show and despite asking to sit where we would get wet, Haiden cried when we were drenched. We were at Sea world on fathers day and had a great day.
The best day of the month was my birthday, Michael found out he passed his NCLEX, aka nursing boards.

July- we had fun watching fireworks with family and friends. We also went on our yearly family camp out in the Unitas's. It rained like mad but was still a great time. Glad Briana and Sarah were able to come up for the day. Haiden turned 6 and had a fun party at the park with his friends and family.

August- Haiden started school and the 1st grade. His teacher is Mrs. Strain and he is so excited for school.

September- Michael and I had our 8th anniversary, we went to dinner and a movie.

October- Halloween was fun. We went to Char and Brian's to trick or treat. Char made dinner and we played games after trick or treating.

November- We had a busy month with Thanksgiving and getting prepared for Christmas. Pie night was a bust since it was sooooo cold the truck would not start until I plugged it in. Once we got on the road we were over an hour late and with the icy roads we decided to not make the hour and a half drive to Ogden. We went to dinner at the Chinese buffet and were sadly disappointed in the food. Thanksgiving day was much better, we went to my families and played games and ate more food than anyone should. It was a great day!!! I am sooo very thankful for my family, I am glad that they are close and that we all get along and enjoy hanging out with each other. Michael also started his first Nursing job and was learning tons. It has been an adjustment with both of us working again, but soooo happy that Michael has a nursing job.

December- We had a great December, we had a get together with my siblings in place of gifts. We had no kids for the night and laughed so hard, I don't think I have laughed that hard in a long time. Michael and I took advantage of not having the kids and finished up the kids Christmas shopping. The week before Christmas Michael got 3 calls back for interviews. He was offered all 3 jobs. He had a very hard time deciding which one to take but eventually decided on the one that was the closest to home and one that is only about 30 hours a month. He gave his 2 weeks notice to the home health job and started his 2nd job the week before Christmas. He will start his full time job on his birthday.
We had a wonderful Christmas Day and a
fabulous Year with family.
